Today we are “rocking our socks” for World Down Syndrome Day. With this simple gesture – to rock the socks, we all have a chance to stand up for diversity in society and all people’s equal value and rights. We respect that we are all different and yet the same. A person diagnosed with Down’s syndrome is an individual with unique qualities and with the same basic needs as all other people: to be loved, to give, to belong.
So join us, and “rock the socks” for diversity and everyone’s value.
